The gist....

My name is Chris. I like travelling and living in foreign countries and I'm into snowboarding a little. If I had a motto it would be something like "If it looks like fun, give it a go. If you like it, do it twice!". I tried postponing the rat-race life style for as long as possible but finances eventually forced my return to proffessional life in 2003 when I started work at NesscoInvsat (which is actually pretty good for a real life job!).

I spent 5 years at Heriot Watt University doing a degree in Electrical Engineering. In 1999 I finished and headed off to Japan for a year teaching English as a foreign Language. While there I took part in some voluntary work in Nepal with Habitat for Humanity. In 2000, I left Japan to work for Mason Communications where I decided office work was not for me. In 2001, I left to do a Ski Season in Val d'Isere, France, followed by another Winter Season in Queenstown, New Zealand. After my 3rd winter season back at Val d'Isere I returned to Scotland to Aberdeen where I now work.
